Cabbage variety with an edible, enlarged stem. Characterized by sweet flavor and crisp flesh.

Mulching is used for cultivation.

It is particularly important to avoid water stagnation as this could lead to physiological problems consisting of reduced development of the plants themselves and possibly the presence of an anthocyanin, reddish coloration of the leaves that is not particularly appreciated.
